The theme for this edition is: Leading the Future: Advancing Academic Management and Leadership. In recent months, LNVH conducted research on academic management within Dutch academia. Prof. dr. Laura den Dulk, Professor of Public Administration in Employment, Organization, and Work-Life Issues at Erasmus University Rotterdam and dr. Daphne van Helden, Assistant Professor of Organization and Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam, will give an exclusive sneak preview of the research findings.

Prof. dr. Judi Mesman, Professor of Social Responsibility and Impact at Leiden University will give a presentation about her report 'Leadership in Color' (2024). This report describes the experiences of forty people of color appointed to roles such as director or manager in (local) government, culture, education, and healthcare since May 2020.

Educator, speaker, executive coach, and author Prof. dr. Barbara Banda, Visiting Professor at the Rotterdam School of Management, will conclude the evening with her perspective on creating truly inclusive organizations and the leadership change necessary to achieve this.

Kunsthal curator Joris Westerink will welcome us with a short presentation in which he further elaborates on the theme of women's representation in art, offering insights into the process of creating exhibitions at the Kunsthal. He will also talk about Diva, the exhibition which opens at the Kunsthal on October 26 and celebrates the unprecedented power and boundless feminine creativity of iconic performers who have been challenging the status quo with their bravura and ambition.
